


Nathan Mintah Partner
Nathan has over 17 years of experience in corporate finance and private equity in Africa, most recently as partner of Kingdom Zephyr, based in Johannesburg. He led the firm's investment in a number of significant transactions, including Mixta Africa and Thunnus Overseas Group. Prior to Kingdom Zephyr, he was a director in Global Investment Banking for HSBC in Johannesburg. He advised on and arranged financing for high-profile transactions in Nigeria and South Africa, including Pechiney's US$ 2 billion aluminium smelter project in South Africa, MTN Nigeria and Econet Wireless (Nigeria), AES Corporation (UK), as well as Access Bank's three-way merger in Nigeria. Nathan joined HSBC from Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) where he headed-up its project and trade finance business for sub-Saharan Africa, based out of Johannesburg.
Nathan holds a degree in mathematics from Eckerd College, Florida and an MBA from Yale University in the US. He is currently the Chairman of the advisory committee of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Africa Board.
