Philip Pritchard  

Philip brings over 20 years' experience operating in global emerging markets. Philip started his career in asset management in London in 1987, before becoming a stockbroker and moving to Hong Kong in 1990. Philip spent 8 years in Hong Kong, returning to London in 1998 to take up a senior position with the Fleming Group and then subsequently JP Morgan.

Philip left JP Morgan in 2003 to join CLSA, Asia's leading independent brokerage and investment group, initially as Managing Director and then becoming CEO of CLSA (UK) in 2005, a position he held until 2008 when he left to co-found 8 Miles.

More recently, Philip has joined the Board of Awash Wine Share Company, an 8 Miles investment and Ethiopia's largest wine producer with international ambitions. Philip is a Trustee and Non Executive Director of StreetInvest, a charity aimed at helping street children across the world but with a focus on Africa and also a Trustee of Joodon Schools Trust, a local charity raising money to build a school in Kenya. Philip is married with two daughters.
