Biyinzika Poultry International is the Ugandan market leader in the production and sale of poultry Day-Old Chicks ('DOC') and specialised poultry feed. The company has more than 30 outlets across Uganda and produces approximately 200,000 DOC per week. Poultry feed is produced from its 60,000 MT p.a. production and storage facility in Katega, Uganda.

8 Miles acquired a majority stake in the business in May 2015, and expanded the product line to commercial production of broiler chickens in 2016 and dressed chicken in 2018.

8 Miles exited its stake in Q4 2023.
